I used DALLE2 and Photoshop to create the image above. It\u2019s kinda crazy, but it\u2019s meant for my Tower of Gates book series. The image above started with this one\u2026<\/p>\n

As you can see, it started as a fairly simple image. However, I quickly began to use a new feature of OpenAI\u2019s DALLE2 called outpainting that allows you to expand an already generated image, like so\u2026<\/p>\n

I gradually added more sections to the image\u2026<\/p>\n

\u2026 and even more sections!<\/p>\n

At this point I should\u2019ve changed the prompt more, but I kept going!<\/p>\n

Sometimes, like in the photo below, the AI didn\u2019t do a great job\u2026<\/p>\n

So I erased a bit and asked it to do it again!<\/p>\n

And DALLE2 filled it in a little better\u2026<\/p>\n

So I continued building out the image. Knowing the Tower of Gates is about dimensions to other worlds, the image getting a little crazy didn\u2019t bother me too much.<\/p>\n

And I kept going\u2026<\/p>\n

\u2026 and going\u2026 I had to keep erasing occasionally\u2026<\/p>\n

But it would always get back in line (mostly!)\u2026<\/p>\n

After I finished, I took it in to Photoshop to clean up a bit more\u2026 Like the top left corner\u2026<\/p>\n

After Content Aware Fill in Photoshop\u2026<\/p>\n

Then I added the series nameplate for Tower of Gates\u2026<\/p>\n
