After the successful release of <em>Resident Evil 4 Remake<\/em> a few weeks ago, we now have a new trailer for <em>Resident Evil Death Island<\/em>; and it brings together every major protagonist from the <em>RE<\/em> games<\/p>\n<p><em>D.S.O. agent Leon S. Kennedy is on a mission to rescue Dr. Antonio Taylor from kidnappers, when a mysterious woman thwarts his pursuit. Meanwhile, B.S.A.A. agent Chris Redfield is investigating a zombie outbreak in San Francisco, where the cause of the infection cannot be identified. The only thing the victims have in common is that they all visited Alcatraz Island recently. Following that clue, Chris and his team head to the island, where a new horror awaits them.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>This is actually the fourth movie in the CG-animated <em>Resident Evil<\/em> series, with the last film <em>Resident Evil: Vendetta <\/em>releasing back in 2017. We did get <em>Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness <\/em>in 2021, but that show was a miniseries, so it probably doesn\u2019t count when it comes to <em>RE<\/em> as a movie series.<\/p>\n<p>You have to admit, it\u2019s kind of amazing how long <em>RE<\/em> has managed to stretch its brand. On the games side you have all these remakes and mainline entries; and on the other hand you have multiple movie and tv series, all just wanting to give their take on the T-Virus and the Umbrella Corporation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Resident Evil fans sure have been eating good lately.
